Herbatints are free of harsh chemicals and ammonia, instead utilizing proteins, botanicals and vegetal extracts to create their effective hair coloring treatment. Herbatints are permanent, and one package is good for one treatment for medium-long hair, or two treatments for shorter hair.

Ingredients:

Water, Nonoxynol-6, Nonoxynol-4, Ethanolamine, Propylene Glycol, EDTA, Sodium Metabisulfite, Walnut Extract, Rhubarb Extract, Cinchona Extract, P-Phenylenediamine, Resorcinol, O-Aminophenol, M-Aminophenol; Glycol Developer: Water, Glycol, Hydrogen Peroxide, Etidronic Acid, EDTA

Recommend:

Use only on dry hair. Using a plastic or a glass container only, combine equal amouns of Herbatint with the glycol developer (included in pack). Make sure the mixture has been thoroughly blended before application. Put on the gloves (included in pack).
For non-treated hair, apply colour mixture onto dry hair, making sure that the hair shaft from root to end is fully covered. Wait for 40 minutes. For previously dyed or permed hair, apply a portion of the mixture on dry roots first, wait 30 minutes and then apply the remaining mixture onto the rest of the hair. Wait an additional 10 minutes.
Rinse out Herbatint mixture thoroughly with water until the rinse water is clear, then wash hair using a natural pH shampoo such as Herbavita Normalising Shampoo. Then apply a natural pH conditioner such as Royal Cream. Wait 5 minutes and rinse again.

Cautions:

Glycol contains hydrogen peroxide.
Herbatint contains diaminobenzene resorcinol.
Avoid contact with eyes.
This product contains ingredients which may cause skin irritation on certain individuals and a preliminary patch test should be made prior to each application.
This product must not be used for dyeing eyelashes or eyebrows.
Should the mixture come into contact with your eyes, rinse immediately with cool water.
Rinse hair accurately after the dye. Please note that the sachet of conditioner included contains lanolin and is therefore unsuitable for vegans. The colour itself contains no animal derived ingredients.
